The biblical author of Ecclesiastes says there is nothing new under the sun, and an ancient Eastern author says one never steps twice in the same river. Who is right? A more modern author asserts that the opposite of ¬†small truth is a lie, but the opposite of a great truth is another. The truth paradoxically embraces opposites. Real folly begins with the assumption that only one of the contrasting views of now is the real now. The real now is both and….!
